This is the first Valentine's Day I've had someone to be mine. I do think it's kind of a cheesy made-up holiday, but nonetheless.

Last night the boy and I went on a perfect Katydid date: dinner at PF Chang's, Coraline in glorious, gorgeous 3-D, and talking in bed, listening to Tom Waits, until 3 AM. It was quite lovely.

So as Hallmark of a holiday as it is, Happy Valentine's Day, I hope you get at least one person to make you smile today. And if not, there's always this:
