...In which our heroine has food for thought.

School is overloading my brain. I cannot keep a single thought in my head, except for some assorted thoughts.

-By some odd turn of fate, I have been chosen as one of the three directors for films in Production I. I am the only female doing so. I'm flattered, but I don't wanna direct so, we will see.
-Part of me is leaning towards getting a studio to myself next year. I'm not averse to the idea of roommates again, but no one will make a decision. I think it I'd be okay on my own...but it's a big jump.
-The idea of buying furniture for an apartment, if I was to live on my own, is staggering.
-Speaking of big jumps, I register for classes for next year very soon. The fact that I am almost done with my freshman year of college seems impossible.
-I've become addicted to looking up dream interpretations. They are, as per usual, troubling.
-I'm in one of those phases where I hate all the music I listen to. Nothing sounds good enough.
-After Watchmen, my geek radar sees nary a blip for a while. Sigh...
-I am in love. I just haven't vocalized it yet. Writing somehow seems less permanent because those infamous little words are a big leap.
-Parents having Facebook should be outlawed.
-I need new food to eat. I am so tired of pasta, bagels, and chicken breast. Suggestions for easy meals on a budget, please. I don't like to cook beef however, it grosses me out.

And now, homework. (!)

1. Living by myself is in my top three favorite things about my life. With Internet and cell phones you're never really alone anyway. I say go for it.
2. Music...well if you're into Phish they are back together and played a great three nights in Hampton VA AND those three shows are available for free download on the live phish website.
3. Facebook should be outlawed period. Glad I was never sucked in.
4. Food. Tuna and rice. Great for you and wicked easy. Brown rice to make it even better for you.
Also cheap snack that is GREAT for you...shelled peanuts.

I'm so proud of you! I know you don't want to direct but it's a slap in the face to the Director Major Snobs that the screenwriting chick pwns them.
Dream interpretations, i've decided, are kinda dumb. because none of us are the same and have many different influences from our environments that could not possible be grouped into one single definite interpretation of our separate dreams. But, I used to like them a lot as you probably remember.
If you want to keep keep the geek radar blipping: start reading the webcomics I suggested. I swear, they'll suck you in.
do...do your parents have facebook? oh god...
as for cooking: try seafood, for sure. you can make pizza too, with pillsbury rolled-in-a-can dough, pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese and any other ingredient you fancy. bake in oven at 400 for 10-12 minutes for cheese and one topping, and add 2-3 minutes for every other topping, but keep an eye on it.
there's also fajitas with chicken. Try some green and/or yellow peppers, onions, cheese and salsa.
hit me up grrl, i got more where that came from.
