Fall has found its way to Chicago and within a matter of three days, t-shirt weather has become hoodie weather.
But I love fall, it's my favorite season. This apartment is going to be so cozy once it gets really cold outside, seeing as we'll be able to view the conditions outside from a bird's eye view. Fall means Halloween and my birthday, which are both on Fridays this year. That's going to be dangerous. Fall means sweaters and Stephen King books and coffee. Fall means long-term projects and apple cider and crushes.
I love the state of flux fall puts us in. But as they say in my favorite book series ever, A Song of Ice and Fire, "Winter is coming."

I missed my sweatpants and hoodies. I'm glad they're back!!!
And I'm hardcore craving a caramel apple right now.
The first chills of fall are always wonderful.
As was the music, especially the Springsteen and the Depeche Mode.
oh, and fall means pumpkin...ice cream...pie...drinks...pumpkin in any form...
