Modest Mouse last night was kind of a letdown, I won't lie. The setlist was not nearly as good as Lollapalooza and focused more on the early MM albums which I didn't really like or listen to. But nonetheless it was still a good time, especially with Cassie. At least there was no moshing and minimal shoving, although two girls passed out and one guy jumped OVER the speakers to get on stage and try and punch Johnny Marr. Effing amateurs.
Song highlights were "We've Got Everything," "Dashboard," and "Fire it Up," in which a few brave souls did. I was assured by the guy next to me that the bouncer wouldn't say anything because the bouncer bought crystal meth from him. I love listening to conversations and people watching at concerts. Half the time its worth it just to see the t-shirts that people pull out for the event.

Some wannabe hipsters in their natural habitat:
Johnny Marr. He got the biggest applause of the night. Because he's Johnny Marr. And just that cool.
Its almost like we were on his side of the stage on purpose:
A crappy shot of Isaac Brock, which was the one downside of being on Marr's side:
Eric Judy and Jeremiah Green:
The whole band:
